ORTHO DOG WRIST WRAP
The Ortho Dog Wrist Wrap was the original inspiration for the Ortho Dog products.
The Wrist Wrap has greatly improved the quality of life for
the dogs of it's creator. Both dogs suffered from weak wrists on their front
legs and would limp after a hike or a long walk. Ortho Dog designed this simple
brace and now their dogs can hike long distances without pain or limping.
Your dog's front legs are much like your own arms. Directly
above each paw is the wrist joint. The Wrist Wrap, fitted securely, stabilizes
your dog's forearm bones and lends support to the muscles and tendons of the
wrist and leg.
To apply the Wrist Wrap, simply wrap the neoprene brace around
the front leg about 1 inch above where the wrist bends and fasten securely with
Velcro. Be sure that the brace does not interfere with the flexion of the paw.
Your dog will soon let you know the proper tension for support.
