Fleece made from 100% Plastic Bottles - Dog Coat
Fleece Dog coats made from 100% recycled plastic bottles! All I can say is
WOW! I was extremely skeptical when I ordered two for my testers Hope & Rex. I
could not imagine a coat made from 100% Recycle plastic bottles could be very
comfortable. I loved the thought of recycling, so we gave it a try.
The coats are well made, much like a horse blanket. There is adjustments in
the front of the chest, as well as under the belly. Hope & Rex's only complaint
is that they were a little too short for a Great Dane. They could probably have
used a 30" to cover their butts, but the longest is 26". That being said, they
still like to wear them. The picture of Rex (My handsome black Great Dane) is in
the 26" Giant version of the coat.
In addition to the adjustability, the coat is made with 2 layers of thick
fleece. Each layer is made of 330 grams of anti-pilling velour fleece for a
total of 660grams of thicknes. The coats are really warm and you would never
know they were made from plastic bottles. See the "more info" tab to read how
plastic bottles are turned into fleece.
The 100% recycled plastic bottle fleece comes in one color, Grey. The fabric
is washable and the coat is very sturdy.
Coat Care: Machine Wash / Dry (low heat) Separately
