Pill Pockets for Dogs
These pill pockets
for dogs are an awesome product!
We have to admit, at first we thought pill pockets were a little silly. Why
not use meat or cheese from the refrigerator? Then we decided to try out pill
pockets on Bella.
When we first opened a package of Xtra Large dog pill pockets, we were a little
disappointed, since some of the pockets seemed to have gotten a little crumbly.
I was then pleased to find it really did not matter, because the texture of
the product is such that it is moldable, almost like a soft putty, so the smaller
pieces easily mold back together.
You can then form the product completely around the pill, so your pet can't
sniff out the pill in the middle. Bella loved the taste (we used the beef pill
pockets) and easily took her pills without sniffing to see what it was first.
Bella is fussy and has been known to eat around the meat or cheese that we
hid her pills in, but she readily took her pills when hidden in the pill pocket
product!
