FAQ's
Q. How do I apply
the front leg of The Strock™?
A. Place front leg into the sock. One strap goes under the animal’s body.
One strap goes over the top of the animal’s body.
Connect the Velcro together
snugly but not tightly on the shoulder blade area.
Q. How do I apply the hind leg of The Strock™?
A. Place back leg into the sock. One strap goes under the animal’s body.
One strap goes over the top of the animal’s body.
Connect the Velcro together
snugly but not tightly on top of the rump area. Take the additional strap needed
to keep the hind leg Strock™ in place and put it lengthwise on the animal’s
back (from neck to rump).
Place the strap at the neck
under the animal’s collar and turn the end down over the collar, connecting
the Velcro to fit the strap without pulling. Then do the same on the rear part
of the strap, placing the strap under the Velcro straps that are holding the
hind Strock™ in place.
Turn the end down over the
Strock™ straps, connecting the Velcro to fit without pulling. There should
be no excess strap but also make sure the strap isn’t so tight that it
pulls on the neck collar.
Q. How can I pay for my shopping order?

Q. Can I get Strock™ in any color?
A. No, the colors are by size. The extra small comes in red, the small comes
in green, the medium comes in sea blue, the large comes in maroon and the extra
large comes in navy blue.
Q. Won’t my dog just be able to slip out of The Strock™
with minimal effort?
A. No, the design is specifically made to address this concern. On the front
legs, The Strock™ covers the leg up past the “elbow”, which
prevents the animal from “slipping” out of it.
Always make sure the strap
is secure around the body of your animal to further prevent removal. On the
hind legs, the additional back strap will keep the Strock™ securely on
each hind leg.
Q. Isn’t The Strock™ going to cause my animal’s feet
to sweat?
A. No. Since the waterproof nylon is not in direct contact with the animal’s
feet or legs, it does not cause sweating. The cotton lining and the outside
nylon material are not sewn together to ensure breathability.
Q. How can The Strock™ keep my animal’s bandages or legs
dry?
A. The cotton lining is in place specifically to wick any moisture away from
the feet and legs.
Q. Will my pet be able to chew off The Strock™?
A. Not likely since the outside is a durable, waterproof nylon packcloth that
should withstand any chewing. However, since there are some animals that just
cannot be stopped from chewing.
The Strock™ can be
sprayed with chew repellent spray since it is waterproof and any injury will
still remain dry and sterile (always check with your veterinarian first if your
particular animal has any allergies).
Q. How do I clean The Strock™ so it can be used again?
A. Simply put it in the washing machine! The Strock™ is even durable enough
for the dryer! After washing and drying it, the inside lining will most likely
have popped out but you simply press it back into place and it’s ready
to be worn again and again.
Q. How do I make sure that I order the correct sized Strock™?
A. The Strock™ sizes are based upon the length of the animal’s leg.
All measuring should be done from the floor underneath the animal’s body
(not the outside of the leg).
