“With the help of Dr. Fjerstad of Foxmoor Animal Hospital & her assistant Erin, Bella was able to pass peacefully over to Rainbow Bridge while in her own bed, getting kisses from her mom and surrounded by those who loved her most” says Ronnie Daldos, Bella’s mom and CEO of www.BellasPainRelief.com.

Bella was a Tripod Great Dane, born in November 2003 with a stunted right forelimb. She was adopted by Ms. Daldos from an animal shelter in Massachusetts. “At first they would not allow me to adopt her because I lived in NJ”, says Ms. Daldos, “but Bella’s foster mom Jane read my letter and just had a good feeling that I would take care of her”.

As Bella she grew, she had a number of orthopedic & neurological issues. She always pulled through the hard times because of all the wonderful veterinary specialists that worked hard to help her. “Had it not been for the surgical skills of Dr. Jana Norris, I would never have had the last 3 years with Bella”, says Ms. Daldos.
Because of Bella’s hip dysplasia, canine arthritis and other orthopedic issues, she had to have hot & cold modalities applied to different areas of her body to provide relief to a painful joint or muscle. “I was always rigging up a way to wrap the ice pack on her so it would stay in place”, says Ms. Daldos. “Then I thought, wouldn’t it be great if they came with a way to attach them”.
